As a senior woman, I found San Marco Design Suites to be the perfect place for a delightful getaway in Venice. The entire hotel was beautifully decorated with a touch of elegance and charm, making me feel like I had stepped into a hidden gem. The general areas were spacious and well-maintained, allowing me to move around comfortably. Additionally, the hotel's location in a shopping district made it very convenient for me to explore nearby attractions such as St. Mark's Square and La Fenice Theatre, all within a short walk.

If I were to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have an extra set of towels available. During my five-day stay, one set of towels was not sufficient, and it would have been lovely to have another set for added comfort.

The room was en suite and neat with a shower, hair dryers and a bidet in the private bathroom. The staff and the host were all genuinely helpful.

The hotel was a fabulous base for enjoying a nice quiet area, really close to the ferries in Venice, a water taxi to the airport and the vaporetto stop, which has both regular water trams and a ferry from the airport. All the staff was especially helpful, solved my issues. Loved beautifully decorated a twin room with all necessary things, wouldn't mind staying there all day. An electric kettle, a refrigerator and glassware were a nice touch. The property had a central location and it was a couple of blocks away from a picture gallery❤
